We were Drunkey Drunkerson’s last night! But I did not smoke that much. I had no cigs yesterday during the day, like 6 or 7 last night, and none this morning. I checked my pulse this morning and it was at 73 bpm (normal resting is 65 bpm). That is really good for me. Normally I am between 85 – 100 resting. So obviously cigarettes have a huge affect on heart rate. I always knew they affected it but I didn’t realize it would make such a difference in this short amount of time. So I guess it is just another positive thought/ personal experience to keep me from picking up that stinky cigarette. I am not going to try to completely quit just yet. I am going to smoke only once I get home from work. Even then I will try to keep it to a limit. I haven’t really made any rules or decisions for the weekend yet. Any thoughts?

I am pretty sure that Kewl was doing that for quite some time, she would not smoke at work, and only on nights and weekends.
Do you know if she is still doing that? Would she try to limit herself once she got home? Did she have weekend rules? Just curious how it works/ worked for her.
Well if she would come back from stupid Hawaii, she could tell us her stupid self, but regrettably she is stupid, and I am jealous ;)
But I don't think she did restrictions, on the nights or weekends.
Well, I was thinking I could just set a few limits such as, "I must do dishes or laundry or clean the porch or something before I have one.
LOL that would suck! But ok.
I think I will start to feel more energetic and so the chores and stuff won't be so bad, no? and yeah, that crazy bitch needs to come back and stop laying on beaches and making us jealous!
I tried it and it worked okay. The only problem was I stopped taking breaks at work and did not go to lunch. Then work became intolerable - so then I was totally stressed and wanted to kick out peoples windows and throw my computer. My advice is to make sure you still take breaks, maybe take a walk around the building or read a book for a few minutes. On nights and weekends I did not limit myself, but I was still smoking half of what I usually did. Bad news is now I am back to smoking during the day too :) I tried!!
You can always try it again if you want to! I still am doing okay not smoking during the day. The hardest time is on the way home from work in rush hour traffic. I want to crash people & flip them off and honk a lot. I'm sure this only makes me look like an idiot. Hopefully it will get easier with time. On a positive note I am already getting used to not smoking on the way to work & even at lunch. I hardly even think about it.
