
I know it's only Tuesday, but a girl can dream can't she?? So this one goes out to our dear friend Jack. Although I bet he adds a little more olive juice (like myself) than this recipe calls for. Cheers Jack!!
The Dirty Martini: 4 ounces of gin, 1/2 ounce of dry vermouth w/ a tsp. of olive juice, garnish with an olive.

Jamm-o, you made my day! Really and truly. IMHO -- perfect martini: the long end of a jigger full of Bombay Sapphire; the short end of the jigger full of olive juice; a bottle cap of dry vermouth, shaken and strained, and garnished with two garlic-stuffed olives.
Ooh, I don't think that I have ever had garlic stuffed olives but it sounds good! I will have to try that next time.
My only tip is make sure any "stuffed" olives you buy (garlic/bleu cheese/jalapeno) are packed in brine, and not oil, otherwise you'll have a disgusting olive-oil slick floating on the top of your martini. I learned that the hard way. Enjoy! :-P
